”From Ancient Landscape to Oil Town” – the history of Stavanger from the foundation in the 1120s to 1995. 

”A Town History Tableau - glimpses into the history of Stavanger, 1600-1900"  –  scenes from everyday life, handcrafts, children's play, school, church and art, etc. with life size dolls in period costumes.

In "The Kielland Room" the author Alexander L. Kielland is working from his home near Breiavatnet. "Little Marius" sits on his school bench twisting his handkerchief.  Around him you can recognize several personas from Kielland's authorship, and glimpses from the town in his age.
