Stavanger museum - natural history exhibitions
Our exhibitions of birds and animals from the local region and the world are located in Muségt. 16, the old museum building that was founded in 1893.

Natural history exhibitions in Muségt. 16:
April 15th - mid-September 2011:
"Your Majesty"
- exhibition about the Norwegian moose (elk).

”Twisted Animals and Smiling Skeletons"
- an original exhibition of old stuffed animals, skulls and skeletons that were collected all over the world when the museum was founded in the late 1800s.
Local bird fauna
- an exhibition about the regions rich and varied bird life. Divided into themes after the natural habitats you find the different bird species in. Also a department with exotic birds from all over the world.
